releases and stories written by the
Grizzlies Intern Nic Hallisey.
About
Nic
Nic Hallisey is a journalism
student at Colorado State University
in Fort Collins, Colo. He has
combined his passion of writing with
his love for baseball as a media
intern with the Cheyenne Grizzlies
this summer.
Nic has experienced the game of
baseball as a player, umpire, fan
and writer and lists his favorite
activity as spending time at the
ballpark. His favorite team is the
Colorado Rockies.
Besides baseball, Nic enjoys
spending time with friends, family
and dog. He also is a volunteer
Young Life leader and works in the
athletic media relations department
at CSU.
Nic was born and raised in Fort
Collins, Colo. His future career
goals include working inside major
or minor league baseball as a media
relations director.
Ask A Grizzly: Each Monday fans
will have the chance to ask a
selected member of the Grizzlies
roster or coaching staff a question.
The first Grizzly, head coach
Aaron Holley, will have questions
published online on June 14. Fans
can e-mail Nic with questions.
Player features: Every Tuesday
fans will learn about a new
Grizzlies player through a feature
story.
Nic Knows: This weekly series
will be published each Friday and
gives fans a behind-the-scenes look
inside various aspects of the
Grizzlies ballclub. From the sights
and sounds of a game inside the
Grizzlies dugout to traveling with
the team to a road game, or the role
of the grounds crew or what it takes
to try out for the Big Leagues, fans
will feel so close it’s like they’re
actually with the team.

Grizz Rally

Grizzlies took advantage of two
costly errors to score two runs

All-Star Game Wyo Vs.
Colorado
On the game’s biggest stage, the
Cheyenne Grizzlies didn’t
disappoint. Tuesday night, the
MCBL All-Star Game traveled to
Cheyenne for the first time and
the Wyoming All-Stars recorded
its first victory over Colorado
in the midseason classic, 10-3.

Home Run Derby
The MCBL All-Star Game
festivities kicked off Monday
evening with the annual Home Run
Derby, featuring five Cheyenne

event was fun for all, and a
